Section 4: Protecting people from harm and abuse – locally and nationally

In this section, your learners will cover possible barriers to alerting or referring relevant agencies to an alleged abuse, as well as legislation in place currently which relates to the sharing of information.

Section 5: Safeguarding children

Your learners will explore the procedures to follow, based on profession, if it is suspected that a child or young person is experiencing abuse.
